Thank you for visiting our website. Sanchez Chiove Consultant provides engineering, plant design and consulting services for a wide range of industries, such as: oil and gas, marine, water treatment and desalination, chemical, food and pharmaceutical.

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so – for example, to provide our services, to communicate with you, or to improve our services. We collect information in the following ways:

    2. Your email address and other contact information necessary for the creation of an account or subscription to our newsletter, as explained in section ‘Information you provide to us’ and ‘Newsletter’
    3. Your email address and other necessary contact information in the contact forms you fill out to communicate with SCC, as explained in section ‘Contact forms’
    4. Information included in job applications submitted online, as explained in section ‘Job application’
Information You Provide to Us

Account Information: We ask for basic information from you in order to set up your account.

Public Profile Information: If you have an account with us, we collect the information that you provide for your public profile.

Communications with Us (tawk.to): You may also provide us information when you respond to surveys, communicate with SCC about a support question, post a question about our service, or sign up for a newsletter like the one we send through SCC mailing. When you communicate with us via form, email, phone, blog comment, or otherwise, we store a copy of our communications (including any call recordings as permitted by applicable law).

Newsletter

SCC collects and processes information when you subscribe and consent to our newsletter, which will be used to send you our informative releases.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

SCC collects and processes information when you fill in contact forms to communicate with us, after obtaining your consent. This data will be used to contact you back and provide with any further information or help required.

Website usage data and cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

Personal data is retained as long as required to fulfil it’s purpose.

Information about your visit and use of our website will be kept for as long as you navigate this website. Other information like the one provided for your personal SCC account, newsletter subscriptions or any other means of contact, shall be kept until you retract your consent.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
