Catalogue & Specifications

This SCC service is based on the assembly and maintenance of catalogues and specifications during the development of a project . The stipulations involving these catalogues are shaped according to engineering parameters, datasheets and reference materials determined by the client, involving materials, physical properties,  component details, nuts & bolts and any other relevant information required for the  project.

SCC believes in the critical importance of applying reliable methods of verification of input and output data affecting specifications, configured according to client and engineer specifications, industry standards (such as ASME, BS, DIN, JIS, etc.), supplier stipulations and other data provided. Laser scanning, also known as ‘reality capture’ or ‘3D data capture’, is a technique that has been used in the surveying process of engineering, design and construction. In response to new regulations, upgrade of equipment and application of safety procedures, industrial utilities are suffering frequent modifications, those of which can be precisely monitored with the implementation of laser scanning. SCC has a wide experience in the implementation and use of this technology in it’s projects, given/due to the benefits provided by keeping a close tracing of system conditions and functionality, making a digital register for every existing asset on site, and supplementing owners and operators with 3D amended data that reflect every change that takes place in the utilities.

Installation of the laser data into the 3D environment.

Export data from LFM to the 3D model (i.e. Equipments, pipes)

Based on the specifications generated by the structure department, we proceed with the loading of data into the 3D model, so that it can be further used for calculation of interferences that may affect the design of other assets. It is also possible to import 3D models from other softwares such as TEKLA and others. Structure details are represented according to clients requirements.

Regarding civil structures, we also offer design services to support the construction of buildings, roads, access facilities, basements. etc. It is applied as a reference and imported into the design environment in order to reserve space in the model for other assets.
